Alex & Jay’s wedding at Nestldown in Los Gatos California was nothing short of pure magic. When I met with bride Alex Hermes, a former Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader, she said she wanted the wedding to feel like a bohemian woodland fairytale. Both her and her husband Jay wanted the FEELING of the day to be documented and that is exactly how I like to approach weddings. What did your wedding feel like?

Your overall experience on your wedding day is something I feel fiercely protective of. You spend a year sometimes more, planning this day, envisioning how it will unfold, visualizing celebrating with all your favorite people. Yes, I could pull you over and over for photos or I could efficiently get what I need and let you actually experience your wedding day. Gone are the days when portraits take up your entire cocktail hour. I want you with a cocktail in your hand as soon as possible, laughing with all your family and friends in that blissed out afterglow of just getting married.
